Bitola Air

Live air quality for Bitola — bitolaair.mk

Bitola has some of the worst winter air in the region, and the official numbers are scattered across sources most residents never see. Bitola Air puts the current readings in one place, in plain language, so people can decide whether it's a good day to be outside.

It shows live air-quality values on a map of the city, updating as new sensor data comes in, with a settings screen for choosing what to track. The interface is built to stay fast and readable on an ordinary phone, and installs as a PWA.

I built the data pipeline that ingests and serves the live readings, the map layer that turns raw measurements into something glanceable, and the front-end across web and installable app.
